IN MEASURING THE LEGS
TO SEE IF THERE IS DISPARITY IN
LEG LENGTH, REVEALING A
POSSIBLE TWIST.

1. Align yourself by squaring your body point on a wall ten feet (3m) or more away from you.
2. As per diagram #2, have someone place a chair evenly behind both legs and guide you into a sitting position. Use a chair with a straight front. Make sure you don't wiggle after being seated.
3. Raise the feet until both knees are straight. Compare the length at the heels or the ankle bones. Note the difference in length if any.
If in doubt, or if you have wiggled, remeasure again. It helps to keep looking at the same point on the wall during all three steps.
